Massive Software Deployed at UK's Bournemouth University National Centre for Animation

New Massive Educational Program Offers Special Pricing and Curricula To Higher Learning Institutions

Wednesday 15 November 2006

Massive Software, the industry's premiere developer of autonomous agent 3D animation systems, has entered into an educational partnership with Bournemouth University.

Bournemouth University's National Centre for Computer Animation, the top animation school in the UK, will be the first university in the United Kingdom to integrate Massive software and training curricula into its animation course-load. Bournemouth acquired over fifty Massive Prime licenses via Massive's educational program, and will provide training on the system to undergraduate and graduate-level students.

Professor Peter Comninos, the Director of the NCCA said, "We feel greatly honored that Massive Software holds us in such esteem and wishes to collaborate with us in their effort to make their system more accessible to students." He continued, "the availability of this software to our teaching and research staff, and to our students will give them an edge over the competition. We hope to conduct some collaborative research with Massive Software once our relationship becomes better established."

Courses and curriculum developed by Massive Software will be used by Bournemouth University as a basis for developing their own materials for inclusion in their individual courses. Massive expects to see the adoption of its educational program at several other leading institutions in the near future.
