Ms. Holland began her visual effects and computer graphics career in 1989 at George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic, where for four years she assisted management in developing the infrastructure necessary for such ground breaking projects as Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park. As the third person tapped to join start-up Digital Domain in 1993, Ms. Holland left ILM to act as DD's Director of Operations, where she supervised the build-out of the studio and recruitment to 230 employees in their first year. Ms. Holland then presented DD to 60 Hollywood film productions over the following year as Director of Marketing for the feature film division. Subsequently at Sony Pictures, Ms. Holland was Executive Director of Marketing where she oversaw feature sales and publicity for SPImageworks, and co-developed the PR launch plan for the TV commercial division. Turning her attention from marketing to production, Ms. Holland spent three years as Visual Effects Producer at Santa Barbara Studios, where a small team of brilliant CG artists accomplished elaborate computer graphics projects and wrote ground breaking software later incorporated into Autodesk’s Academy Award winning Maya product. After Santa Barbara, Ms. Holland served as Senior Vice President of Magnet Interactive for three years, where she supervised all production and operations for the Los Angeles office servicing accounts such as Nissan Infiniti and Quiksilver. Ms Holland prepared the business unit for sale to an Accenture joint venture, who then put Holland in charge of the new company’s post-merger employee communications worldwide. Next, Ms. Holland served Walt Disney Feature Animation as Production Manager during a 9 month pipeline redesign and animated feature development, before coming on board with Massive Software as CEO in late 2003. Utilizing her broad range of experience and extensive networks in the film and television visual effects and high end games CGI industry, Holland took Massive from start-up stage to its current position as the undisputed world leader in crowd simulation for film and television. Ms. Holland is credited with developing Massive’s world class brand, overseeing all sales, marketing, PR and administration, and for driving Massive’s explosive entry into the new markets of architecture, engineering, security, transportation simulation, infrastructure design, and education.
